Kalyan Paul – Executive Director

Kalyan together with wife Anita founded Grassroots back in 1992.  Recognised internationally as social and environmental entrepreneurs through the Ashoka Network, they are constantly engaged in the research and development of new technologies and ideas for improving the lives of mountain communities.  Kalyan oversees all areas of work and is particularly responsible for the Eco-Restoration Efforts in the Gagas river basin and sharing best practices across the Himalaya through the Partners in Change programme.
